Beverages - Berry Zinger
(Serves 6)

4 Cups SuJon frozen Blackberries
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Cup Orange juice
4 Cups Frozen Yoghurt or Vanilla Ice Cream
2 Cups crushed ice
Whole berries for garnish
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Crush/puree berries and strain through a fine sieve to yield approximately 2 cups puree (partially thaw berries before crushing). Combine puree with remaining ingredients, blend until smooth and pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with 2-3 berries, and fresh mint leaves if desired.

 

Beverages - Blackberry Peach Cooler
(Serves 4)

2 cups SuJon frozen Blackberries
340g can peach nectar
2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
3-4 Tablespoons sugar
455g crushed ice (approximate)
Sparkling mineral water (Optional)

Crush/puree berries and strain through a fine sieve to yield approximately 1 cup puree. (If berries are frozen, partially thaw before crushing.) Combine puree with remaining ingredients, stir and pour into chilled glasses. Sparkling mineral water makes a nice addition and may be added to glasses if desired.

 

Beverages - Berry Peach Sangria
(Serves 4 - 6)

1 cup SuJon frozen Raspberries, Blackberries
750 ml (about 3 cups) dry red table wine, such as a Burgundy
1/2 cup orange juice, or juice of 2 large oranges
1/3 cup lemon and lime juice, or juice of one large lemon or lime
1/3 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons brandy (optional)

2 peaches, quartered and sliced
340g (1 1/2 cups) club soda or sparking mineral water
Ice

In a punch bowl or 3 Litre pitcher, stir together first 5 ingredients. When sugar is dissolved, add berries and refrigerate 2-3 hours to allow flavors to mingle. About 1 hour before serving, add peaches. Add soda/mineral water to sangra just before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with berries and fruit slices.


Beverages - Sparkling Berry Champagne
(Serves 4)

SuJon Frozen Raspberries for garnish
1 750 ml bottle chilled Champagne
1 cup red raspberry juice
1/4 cup black raspberry Liqueur (such as Chambord)
Fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Divide juice and liqueur evenly between 4 wine glasses. Fill glass with Champagne, adding 2-3 raspberries and sprig of fresh mint for garnish, if desired.

 

Beverages - Citrus-Berry Mimosas
(Serves 4)

Orange slices and SuJon Frozen Raspberries for garnish
170ml frozen Orange Juice concentrate
170ml frozen Pineapple Juice concentrate
2 cups Raspberry Juice
1 340ml can Lemon-Lime soda, chilled

In pitcher or punch bowl combine all juices. Just before serving, add soda, orange slices and raspberries.


Beverages - Easy Iced Fruit Slushy

Easy Iced Fruit Slushy
(Serves 10 -12)

2 cups whole SuJon frozen Blackberries
2 cups whole SuJon frozen Raspberries 3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 cups water
2 Tablespoons orange juice concentrate
2 Tablespoons lemonade concentrate
1/4 of a Watermelon
1/2 Rock Melon (Cantaloupe)
1/2 Honeydew Melon
300g red and green Grapes, whole
300g Peaches, sliced

Heat sugar, corn syrup and water until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add juice concentrates.Set aside to cool. Slice and seed all melons. Cut into small bite-sized pieces, or use a melon baller if desired. Add whole grapes, sliced peaches. Add frozen berries last, pouring flavored syrup over all. Freeze in 1 qt. freezer bags until ready to use. (Do not freeze in larger quantities, as does not thaw properly.

To serve, remove from freezer about 30 minutes before serving time. Fruit should be slushy when served
